Replacing TH700R4 TV Cable .

A simple question. When replacing the TV Cable on a 700R4 tranny. Will it spill oil or not?

I believe the last one I did may have dripped a couple of drops, but no real spillage. This however was on an Astro so the front end was up in the air.

I remeber just a few drops when i unplugged the one out of my '82.

If you use the remote you should be fine. Just make sure to hook the RCA cables back up when you're finished.

As long as the vehicle is on flat ground it shouldn't spill any UNLESS the trans is overfull.
