I quoted you because you constantly post out of date or misleading information. Then the people who are trying to get something correct make assumptions

A 4 wire o2 doesn’t fix exhaust leaks
It’s useful in your application because you moved it further from the collection point
This creates a need for it to be heated

In terms of leaks. Do some research. Every manufacturer of EFI has an entire page in the installation manual specifically citing o2 locations, both in terms of collection distance and leaks.

Interesting read!

I will forever remember that device is a knock sensor. Many thanks for the fast response.

Planning on putting the tank back in this evening, new o ring in hand. Gonna be a couple weeks until I can get the exhaust built and fire it up. Don’t have the efi in hand yet. Pause
If, or when you ever go EFI, shoot me a PM

I will be glad to help you with whatever you need

i have been watching this and it has gotten out of control on both sides i think .

FACTS are a leaking exhaust to close to or before a o2 sensor WILL throw off the readings and change fuel curve .

FACT is no o2 sensor can be swapped in to fight this point it need to have the leak fixed .

sorry some people at some point posted this bad info or how it got this point in what you remember or believe but it is the truth .

i for one like your crew cab from day one seeing it here . never had a problem with you . so take a brake and let it breath and digest before we all go crazy on here . i know i have had my moments in this group and i am still here . so there is hope and understanding .

Good summary and recommendations, Brett.

I'll unlock this mess only if the OP requests it.
