Replacing VENT window seal?

I am fed up with with the leaking and whistling being louder than my radio and my dual 3" flowmaster 50s and 454 on the highway. So I went and bought the 1-piece GM replacement seal...only probem: I have NO clue how to remove the vent window to allow me to replace the seal. Any pointers or step-by-step instructions or diagrams would be great....Thanks gang...

I'm 99% sure that I posted a diagram of how the vent window comes apart, about a year ago. You'll have to search for it though, and no garauntees on if the link is still good...

Once the door panel is removed, I think 1 bolt holds it in place.

There's a bolt on top of the doorframe too.

My vent window leaks real bad becuase the lock is coming apart and it doesnt hold the window closed tight? any ideas on fixing that?

had same problem...ordered seals for both sides, looked the job over and just ended up ordering a new vent window assembly for the driver side. Never did change the passenger side. It involves popping out the old rivets, and installing with new ones.
