So all my front fenders look way off and don't butt up to the cab right . my doors sag lol.I'm hoping the PO didn't bend up the cab itself somehow. It was ran into a tree or what not on the pass front quarter and it pushed around panels . I was at the 4wheel parts store here in town and the counter guy says for the doors for my 75... That ANY door from 76 on up to 91? Will fit. He says the newer doors 76 and later can simply be cut to accomidate the full conver top my truck has and I just need to add some rubber molding. my plan after I get everything mechanicaly sound is to then fix up the body. There are donor trucks everywhere. In additiion will the fenders (inner and outer) from ANY chevy truck/blazer 73 -91 just bolt right up w no problems? Are they all interchangable? I like the older style front fenders better than the newer - straight line style- thanks!

And is what he said correct about the doors? Just cut ,install ,mount and mold then your good to go?

It's a little bit of careful work, but yes what he said is true. You need to keep a few things from the old doors, mostly the reinforcing plate above the outside door handle, the fibreglass cover piece that caps that part of the door and the rubber trim/cap/plug above the vent window.

Newer front fenders will bolt on, but hood hinges are mounted differently. There is a tech article on the home page that goes into more detail.

Oh cool I'll look for that. The hood I have I don't want to touch just adjust..If I don't have to. Its one of those aftermarket hoods and it looks like someone spent some coin at one point on It not a scratch.
. It needs to be adjusted is all I think. How hard is it to replace fenders anyway? Is it all nuts and bolts? I was going to go crazy w a comealong and rework old fenders but na , I'm not a body man and I'd probly jack up my junk worse:haha:

Help lol

I've been trying to post pics in this thread but I'm having a hell of a time. So I RANDOMLY SCORED on minimal rust doors today for my 75 with glass and working (as seen in my member photos). And I'm movin onto buying an entire front clip from the same guy with inners and outers . -FROM A 77-78 SCOTSDALE TRUCK not a blazer (Also in my member photos) the blue grill and fender pics . Those fenders and grill are PERFECT. And my question is = will those blue fenders from that 77 TRUCK fit on my 75 blazer ?????? I am also getting the front support rail in front of the radiator. THANKS ALL :waytogo: Just want to make extra sure BEFORE I buy the whole clip !

Yup, you're good to go on the 77-78 stuff. Direct fit.

For the '81 model year GM changed the front clip sheetmetal. Newer can be fit to older, but it's not a straight bolt up deal. Older can be fit to newer, but again it's not a straight bolt up deal.

Lemme throw the pic's up for you.

OK here are the pics. If you can upload here, you can post them easily enough.
