restore or mod

I've got a 72 jimmy cst with ac tilt correct motor everything down to the factory spare tire carrrier, slight rust on rockers and corner of doors. Someone has cut dash for cd player. All most all of the body trim came with the truck. including rally wheels with chrome trim. love the truck but have to go one way or the other. Thoughts?
