If I want to retaper the knuckles on my 10 bolt to flip the tie rod to the top, do I need to do anything with the existing, tapered from the bottom, holes?
Basically I want this = \ /
I have this = / \
If I just buy a reamer and retaper the knuckle I'll end up with this = \ /

Although exaggerated, you get the idea. Is this an ok condition?
