Little off topic but how exactly does searching keep the bandwidth costs down. Bandwidth is used every time someone loads a page. If someone uses the search function then accesses 15 posts before finding the information they wanted they would in essence use 15 times the bandwidth that would be used by asking a question and only having to check the one post for an answer.
Now searching does save storage as each new post asking a question already answered uses a few k of storage space. But it does nothing to save bandwidth
