Reuse U-bolts

I just did a 12 bolt to 14 bolt swap and was able to reuse everything but my old rims! =). My only question is what (or is there) is the torque setting for the u-bolts. My U-bolts nuts are 24mm's. Ya they are HUGE! My truck has 6inch superlift lift. Thanks!

140 ft-lbs.

I have found that the gold anodized ones hold up pretty well and I have re-used them. The bare steel ones from the spring shop are rusty in no time and even in just a month of winter are hard to get off without messing them up. If they come apart and go together easily, I reuse them. When I torch and quench them a dozen times while using a 4 foot pipe on my breaker bar to get them loose, they go in the trash. :-) Anything really rusty just gets the cut-off wheel. It's easier than getting them apart and there's no point in trying to save them anyway.

U-bolts to 150 ft. lbs., spring shackle 50 ft. lbs., front eye bolt 90 ft. lbs., rear eye bolt 50 ft. lbs., directly from the Chilton guide!
