I'm getting ready to swap a 10 bolt for a dana44, The ball joints are only about 1 year old in the 10 bolt, So my question is will it hurt anything if I pull the knuckles off the 10 bolt and reuse the ball joints and put them in the dana 44? I don't see anything wrong with it but I figured I would ask here for some more opinions. so what say you?

how hard have you been on the truck? If you run large tires it would be a binifit to you to replace them while you already have the axel apart..

Depend on the condition of them mostly in my opinion /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

If you can seperate them from the yoke without damaging them then I don't see why not. Just use some thread locker when you reinstall or get some new lock nuts. Personally I'd just get new ones. Since you've already got it torn apart that far why not just put new ones in?

If it's already apart get new ones. Nothing worse than taking something apart more than once.

I am nekid also.

welp I think I will just change them, I don't like the idea of something stupid happening just because I was being a tightass /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif thanks for the input
