Revolver Shackles

I just saw some dude's rig and he had Revolver shackles in the rear. Anyone ever heard of these things? I wonder what the advantage would be. I doubt you would want to do this to a daily drive though. What do y'all think? He had some mean articulation man.

I have heard of them but would not use them. I have heard some bad things about them. I don't think that is what a shackle is supposed to do. Later LittleJimmy....
