Can anyone explain to me how the release cable mounts? (I think it slides the seat all the way forward, not sure since it didn't work when I got the vehicle.) Mine was broken but when I tried to install a replacement it doesn't do anything. Obviously I'm doing something wrong. If anybody has a picture of one installed that would be extra great. Thanks guys!

Just an update: My brother-in-law came up from Texas and removed the seat for me. Mounted it, with the base, on a "mobile" workbench for me. With it at the proper height we were able to easily see how the cable routed. Next, the plunger kept bending when trying to engage the cable (same problem I had with it in the truck).. Found out the cover has to be on to keep the cable in-line so it doesn't flex. Who'da thunk it!
