It looks like my k5 won't make it this year due to clutch bleeding problems. I needed it working to get the mufflers installed and a few other things.

Do they rent other 4wd trucks in Moab so I can still wheel with the guys that actually planned better than me?

I guess a Jeep is at least a convertible! Although, an FJ or something like a hummer might be less insulting to the chevy blood that'll be flowing over there. :)

I'm pretty bummed. I spent two days bleeding the clutch and got nowwhere. Everything else is buttoned up, but I can't get it in gear to get out of the garage.:doah:

Yea, I think I remember something like that. In any case, I've reserved a Jeep with a 5-speed. At least I can practice wheeling a manual while I'm there. Hopefully I won't be too much of an outcast.

Did you get the extra insurance ? Look at the fine print , if it says where ya can't wheel , hit those trails first

You sure it's not something your missing? Maybe talk to the guys at ORD?
It's too bad your not bring your truck but $hit happens.
I wheeled from the middle of Spike out through Gold bar with only 1st gear
and no clutch peddle due to my clutch coming apart and wadding into the flywheel one year.
Who says you need all those gears or even a clutch for that matter :haha:
I won't give you a hard time about beating on a jeep  .

I will be there in my Jeep. I don't have a Chevy anymore, but have been to Blazer Bash the last 2 years and can't miss them anymore.

Last year I took my M1008 and brought two friends with Jeeps. Most of the guys threw rotten vegetables at them, but fortunately it was raining hard enough to wash it all off:D

The Bash is more about the poeple and beautiful scenery of Moab, not what kind of rig you are driving. At least that is what I keep telling myself.
