Don't plan to wheel, may do a trail once or twice, if at all. Mainly on road driving. Trying to make this drivable and fun because I don't want a car payment...my YJ and this are paid off and I plan to let my 16 year old drive my Silverado. Ain't no way in hell I'm giving him my YJ or Blazer...I was a kid once with a 4x4
Anyway, just purchased the 4" TC HD springs for front and rear with SX8000 shocks, ORD shackle for front, ORD bushings, ORD swaybar disconnect, ORD brake lines.
Was going to get Bilsteins but I need to pinch here and there because I want to invest in new 350/tranny. And, had a heck of a time trying to locate the right part number for what I needed. When I called them I must have got them at the end of their shift because they said nothing would work for my vehicle.
Really wanted BDS but you start adding in items and the cost goes and goes. Putting the old 350 and tranny into my 1995 Jeep YJ so need funds for that too.
Looking at 15x8 wheels, 3.75 backspace, 6 on 5.5. Might go the route of 35x12.50x15's but definitely 33x12.50x15's at least.
Wheel combo and specs sound fine? I will measure once I get the lift on but like I said going to be about 97% on the road.
If you feel I made a goof on the lift all I can say is I've been reading for weeks and had to balance available funds with short term goals.
