The wife drove the blazer to work and now I'm having problems. Anyway, I first noticed the dash lights we not working when the head lights were on. Next I noticed the tail lights were not working. I replace a fuse and now the dash lights and left tail light work. The right rear tail light doesn't work but when I hit the brake the brake light does. The ground behind the tail light assy looks good. I did notice the wire in the attached photo was disconnected but once reconnected, nothing changes.

Any help would be appreciated

Now that you've found the problem. I suggest going back in and getting rid of the wire taps and the wire nut(s). They'll cause you more problems down the road.

You know, I couldn't beeline the way this was spliced for the trailer lights. I think I'm going to try to find a whole new whirring harness for the rear lights and see if I can find a plug and play harness for the trailer
Lights

That's how a lot of trailer wiring is done. I know the later trucks you can get an adapter that plugs in between the body side and the tail light harness. All you need to do is hook up the ground. Works much better with the factory style weather pack connector. Looks like yours has the square style plug, I know there is an adapter out there for that style (I used one on my 85 and my 86). Think it was like $18 from NAPA.
