rim locator help

looking to buy some rims for a buddys project we need to finish .

he got 46x19.5x16 m/t claws for it .

he wants a 16x14 rim 8lug 6.5 pattern.

I searched a lot and called a lot today . didn't find much under 375-450 each range per rim with over month backlog before ship out .

he dosnt wana do the 12 wide off the shelf stuff as he thinks it will suck the tires in on the side walls to much and look goofy .

anyone got any hookups or know were to get the rims he wants ?

just basic old black rims 16x14 8x6.5 need 4 .

I suspect that unless you want pimpy aluminum rims, anything's gonna be build-to-order.

I just ordered a set of generic steelies from Summit and had to wait for them to be built. Wouldn't have mattered what brand as they all seem to come from the same place. At least mine were only like three weeks.

Admittedly I didn't get rims that wide, but if you're talking steel and/or not pimpy for the mall crawler crowd, you may have to wait

ah he said screw it and just ordered the 12" wide rims in stock @ summit .

he just wants it rollin again to get it over to me to fix it .

I'll be curious to see if they're actually in stock from Summit. The web page said mine were and then a coupla days later I got the email that they were "backordered" three weeks, i.e. build-to-order.
