rim question

ok. quick question. ive got some 16x8 american racing outlaw 2's on my 3/4 ton. that im throwing a six inch lift on along with a three inch body lift (came yesterday) . so what width of tire and how tall can i go with those rims? ive seen some huge tires on15x8's on some other threads but i never thought you could go as big as 42" and wide on a rim with only a 8" width. because school starts in like 7 days and i if i need to order rims 2 it would be nice to know.

I plan on running 42s on my 15X8 rims. It may cause the tread to crown and the center of the tire to wear prematurely but at that point I wont care much.

yeah i just found some 41" iroks that will fit my 16x8's. bout time. been looking for like three days and the interco tire site doesnt tell you they will fit. so i picked up this months 4-wheel offroad mag and it shows them. now that i dont have to pay an extra $450 on the new rims i can fix my headliner and dash.
