Rim size

Right now I'm running the stock rims with 33" bf goodright all terian tires.

I want to upgrade to 35's or 36's that are a lot wider than 8".

What is a good size rim for wheeling and daily driver that will give me that "wide" looks. right now my tires look really skinny on 8"

I'm looking to get 36" boggers but don't know how wide yet because this truck is my DD as well as my offroading truck.

I like the 16x10" black steelies. Wide enough for big tires(later) and big enough to clear a D60(later). They will run anything you want for now. I run a 17" wide tire on those rims and I can run pretty low air presure because of the rim width.
And I like my Pitbull Rockers.

I want to get those rims. Which size of those would be good to run 36" boggers and won't kill my truck if I run it daily to and from school and freeway like once every 2 months.

just get a wheel with a shallower backspacing than stock, if you go with wider tires,,,you will NEVER be able to spin your tires

It wasn't the spinning the tires thing is that my truck is sluggish with 33" :P.

Interco doesn't make 36" Boggers. Your choices are 35" or 37". I have 35 x 16-15 Boggers and I wouldn't daily drive my truck. They ride pretty rough and I have heard they wear out in 10,000-20,000 miles.

I think you got the 35x16 bogger size I mentioned confused, no 36" bogger as mentioned.

The 35x16" bogger is a great size, it has deeper tread and bigger lugs than the 35x14.50 that is also available, the 16" version is basically a small 39.5x18.

The super single Welds you picked out is one of my favorites, the SS2's combined with the bullet caps is the cleanest, slickest looking wheel I've ever seen IMHO.

I'm still trying to get a set of the SS2's, I have two sets of Scorpio v's, 16.5x14's and a set of 16.5x9.75, and a set of Typhoons in the 16x8 flavor.

I'd check out the typhoon, it's my favorite and I originally wanted to get them for my K5 but could only find the Scorpio's in 14's.

Here's my typhoons on my work truck, I'd seriously consider using that style, they look great IMHO. But don't forget the bullet caps!!!!

Here are the Scorpios also, these two styles will be the most common on the used market.

I love the look of my tires, and they are more than just looks they perfrom too! Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ 35x12.5 R15 they sit on 15x10 Ion Alloy rims. Also the MTZs look kick ass and they have much better road manners than Boggers and should last longer on the road too.

Like I already said in your other thread, 14's will beat on bearings and ball joints.

A D60/14BFF combo can take 14's, but they will still eventually wear out a 60's king pins and bearings too, just at a slower rate than a 10B or D44 front.
