So after someone asked my what my wheel & tire combo weighed I started to wonder. I guessed a little over 100 lbs. If my scale is right I was way off.

Specs: 12b H1s, rubber runflats, 39" TSLs= 163 lbs!

Does that sound right?

Today I weighed one of the tires that came off my 3/4Ton axle donor truck, old 16" steel split-rims with some Remington Wide Brutes(metric size, can't remember, measure 32"tall). Anyway, acording to my trusty bathroom scale they weigh in at 101lbs each. Thats 404lbs altogether!

so thats why it is so hard to get my 38's on h1's into the bed of my truck. I knew they were heavy 160 is impressive

my brand new 39.5 tsl on a 15 x 10 steelie weighs in at 138lbs on the trusty bathroom scale.

Yeah, my 39.5 tsl's on 12 bolt H1's with plastic rings were in the 150lb range. And it definitely sucks swapping from trail tires to street tires.
