Since the search feature ain't all that hot I have to ask an old question. I run 35x12.50x15 BFG MT's and just cracked an aluminum rim. Is an 8" width OK or should I go with the 10"??? /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif /forums/images/graemlins/usaflag.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

All depends on what you like. Personally I'd go with the 10's, but I like the wider look.

I run a 12.50 on an 8" rim and it looks great!

I have a set of 35/12.5 r15s on 15x10s. They look like they fit right with no bulging of the tread at full psi (35). My other truck has 315/70 r17s on 17x9s. The tread seems to bulge out just a little bit in the middle. I dont think it makes a huge difference. Smaller wheels are sometimes easier to turn and sometimes hold a bead better at low pressure. Bigger ones give you a wider track and look cooler. I would't go any bigger than 10" or less than 8" though. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
