Narrower rims actually make it harder to pop off the bead versus wider rims. Also, the taller the tire is narrower the rim can be. Myself and a few others in our club have ran 15.5" wide TSL's in 35", 39.5", and 42" heights all on 8" wide wheels with good success (though all the rigs were primarily off-road rides, but all were licensed and saw some pavement). I would have no issues running that size Bogger on a 10" rims, and for general trailriding use that is the size I would recommend.
