I just was given a set of aluminum rims that are not shiny at all. what is the best way to shine up a set of aluminum rims

[/ QUOTE ]Take them to a Truck wash (Located at most truck stops) They have a solution they use in thier power wash that'll clean them up real nice. Then polish them up with a quality aluminum polish like Mothers.

what kind of wheels are they? sicne there not alreay mounted if there welds you can send them to weld and have them polished I think its like $100 shiped /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif
