Will a 10 bolt 3.73 rear ring and pinion set work in a front 10 bolt or is the gear set reversed? Thanks guys.

It will work but realize that changing gears isn't a simple remove and replace type deal.

Could you explain that for me? I have an install kit for a rear 10 bolt. can I use that as well?
The gears, carriers, bearings, etc. are all exactly the same; front or rear.
As for swapping gears from one housing to another, you will need to setup the gears again. Read here, its fairly involved and requires some special tools.
