I'd go with these, I've installed a bunch of the PORC sets and never had an issue. Basically they buy sets from gear manufacturers and rebox them like Yukon, I've actually received Spicer and Richmond gearsets in the boxes before.

Cool those are about the same price and i would be supporting a ck5 vendor as well.

So my next question: would i need master install kits as well? That would make my total about $410 for F + R and install kits from PORC.

Id go with whomever has cheaper shipping. Gears are heavy. Are you buying an install kit with the gears?

Edit: I guess I took too long to post. You probably will need at least pinion bearings unless it's easy to remove the old ones. See if front and rear package deal from porc is a good deal compared to buying bearings at a store. I'm pretty happy with the deal I got from PORC.

I just priced out a package deal from PORC and it was $410 with master install kits. But when you piece it together separately it is $380 :doah: SO I am going to contact them through here and see what my final actual price would be with shipping. I asked the ebay guy if he would take $200 for the pair, so we will see what they say.

The master install kits come with everything (shims, seals, bearings, etc) so make sure you compare "apples to apples". When I was researching prices, it was hard to beat PORC prices. If you don't need all that stuff then maybe it's cheaper to piece it together.

If you have to pay state sales tax buying locally, don't forget to add that. ;)

I think ill go with porc. Just emailed them to see what final price would be and if they still offer a ck5 discount. Ill def get the master kits as well.
