Here pretty soon I am about to install a 4 inch lift and will be running a set of 35s on my blazer, at the moment I do not have enough to replace the ring and pinion with a different gear ratio. Is it really that bad to not have the right gear ratio for a few months? I am currently running a set of 32 inch bfg a/t

what is your set up now?
I would only be concerned with an O/D auto.

Probably not but it depends on your current ratio. I am sure you will be just fine for a little while, very few people replace their r&p the same time they do the lift
