When replacing ring gear bolts know your suppose to replace the locker washers. So where you you get your washers from for a full float 10.5 14 bolt?

I swapped a Detroit Locker into my 14BFF a few months back. This was on a 4.10 and down carrier.

Ordered new bolts over the phone through ECGS, asked them about the lock washer. They said they aren't needed, you are supposed to clean out the threads on the ring gear and use loctite with the new bolts.

I reassembled and torqued new ring gear bolts together with loctite and haven't had any issues.

I don't remember ever seeing lock washers on a ring gear. Same for the carrier bearing caps.

ok saw it some where in a build so figured would ask before tore down and had none!

My 14's have had em...

Could be because of the two piece carrier. But normally you don't see lockwashers.

Every 10.5" FF 14 bolt I've been in to (probably a dozen or so) had lock washers.

I don't think I've seen them on anything else on the "light duty" truck side.

14 bolts have em and I've seen a couple Chrysler axles that have had em.

The lockwashers are nothing special. Compared em once to a normal split lock washer. Exactly the same.

That said I ditch em too. Red loctite.

dave think that is your name did you get housing machine for those steel caps? Seen them at mark williams but says need to machine for them.
