Where's the best place to find/buy gear sets?

Starting the search for a set of 3:08's for a 3/4 ton 4x4.

I think Precision gears are probably one of the nicest gear sets out there if you want samething good. Many people can get them, and Superior sometimes reboxes Precision sets. Start the search...

Hunt around locally... BB ads and buy/sell papers. I just got my (rare) 3.23 ratio 10-bolt front gears in a housing for $50

I think you are SOL if you're trying to find those gears for 3/4 ton stuff.
Well, you should have no problem finding them for a D44...but the rear axle is the problem.
What rear axle is it? That would help.

im about to order up a set of 4.56 for my 14 bolt?? where is teh cheapest place to find precision or perhaps yukon gears?? i need thick gears so i dont have to change my carrier
