Made some progress today despite the rain. Stripped the front of the truck off, a lot of it via sawzall. I also pulled the door panels and dash pad. I will be back at it in the morning to pull the motor and transmission.

you going to try to salvage the motor? did it suffer much damage?
The motor is fine and was still running after the accident. I already have it sold to another member right now though.

. Looks like you rebounded well though. Nice K5 (my favorite year, No ABS, good grill, rear seatbelts not attached to the top). Good luck with the new build.

We had some beautiful weather this weekend and I spent the day cutting up my old truck on Saturday... I just ran out of sawzall blades.

Idk why but that thing has a hot rod look to it that I definately like

I started a thread for the K5, but I haven't started work on it to post much yet... It will get the 3/4 ton axles off of this truck.
