rivet question...

ok i saw another thread that mentioned rivets so i'll just throw my question out there. I see in LMC you can buy the rivets like what holdon the spring shackles.

how exactly do you go about riveting those?? I haven't the faintest idea

just use grade 8 bolts they will have more clamping force then the rivets will. But if you are dead set on the rivets you will need to heat them up red hot and hammer the one side to flatten it our and hold the bracket on the truck

I wasn't planning on using any i was just wondering how they would be used.

Thanks for the input though I'm all for using grade 8 bolts myself
