but not sure if these will work on mine. i have a bare frame without any weight holding it down to use a air hammer, etc. have a buddy that has a torch but i dont want to risk damaging the frame. any suggestions? i need to remove the front spring hangers & a couple of x-members. open to ideas.

Torch always works for me.
If you don't think you're good enough to keep from gouging the frame with the flame axe, an electric angle grinder makes pretty short work of them. Grind off the head and then use your air hammer to punch out the remaining piece.

X2 on the grinder and air hammer method. or a chisel set chucked up in a air hammer to bust the head and then punch it through.
