Hey all,
I'm planning a road trip to Colorado (near leadville) and then Bozeman MT. I am interested in getting a list of people and numbers that are on the way or near my main thoroughfare. I'll be driving my Blazer (no top, doors, glass (except windshield). SHould be an awesome adventure!
I would love to meet some fellow CK5ers and have a means to fix any breakdowns that occur on the way. So if you are interested, post up or PM me. I'll be traveling via mapquest if anyone wants to know my route of choice.
ROad trip tentative dates: late july

Well, I'll wave if I see you as I pass thru CO on my way back from MN in late July /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

I'm in Grand Junction, you'll have to pass through on I-70. There are quite a few members here and the surrounding areas that I'm sure would be glad to help with any problems or take a little run. I know I would. I will PM you with some info, good luck and have fun!

I live in Bozeman Montana /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif I am also the VP of the Bozeman Mountaineers 4WDclub. What are your plans in MT in July? DIvide Ride? Bozeman Mud Bog? Just visiting?

If your planning on wheeling up here you might want to check out M4X4A.ORG. If you are looking for a contact PM me over there (I am BLUE here) and I will get you my info.

Well....now i see its YOU thats coming thru...lol.
Haven't seen ya since the show in phx 3 years ago Juan. If you are coming thru grand Junction....depending on the route you will take to leadville....you might be coming right thru gj...if you are pm me...i'll put you up for the night. Plus we have a new 9 rated trail here in town to perk your interest...course there is allways 21 road...let me know...i'll take care of you.

You might want to rig a tarp for that K5 as the weather in co. changes often...

Just read a post where Marv has a 208 in Ohio that needs to make it to Dallas or AZ. Maybe somebody is headed to MT from Ohio and they can relay the case.

Not sure if it's still there, but went to a good hot springs outside of Bozeman some time back.....

There are alot of hot springs around here. The "Bozeman Hot Springs" (acualy located in Fourcourners) has recently been remodeled and is now more of a spa...its lost all its old charm, but is alot cleaner.

There is also Chico, Patosi and Norris. Both Chico and Patosi are resorts with cabin/food accomidations. Patosi is even situated at the begining of a fun wheeling trail network.

If all goes as planned:
I'll be linked and coiled in the rear by then (maiden voyage)... I drop off the blaze at Randy's next Fri.

The one we went to was in a huge bldg. with several different pools of varying sizes. Looked almost like an old YMCA. Had picnic grounds on the outside and was off one of the main roads out of town. It was old style, but clean.
