I have an 85 k5 that idles too low at 350 or so. I only see an idle stop solenoid that's not hooked up, and no ther screws near the throttle linkage. I was told the solenoid is either for ac idle or to stop dieseling but not for normal idle. Is there another adjustment I'm missing for the idle on this carb? Thx.

should be under that solenoid you should see a screw with a spring around it that is the idle screw.

Lol thx Mike. I see it. I was just blind :). I was getting frustrated pulling the damn motor mounts and took a break to do the idle.:doah:

I have all the bolts out on both sides but the engine won't lift separate from the mount by lifting with a jack at the oil pan. Even directly on the upper mount the whole truck wants to lift. Anyone have any helpful tips?
