Most photos that I see of rock crawling or slickrock doesn't involve trees? I came across this photo from August wheelin. Any rocks we have here in Indiana involve a ravine which include trees to maneuver around, especially in a K5. Usually, because of trees there is only one line to take. I'd probably like wheelin' out west cause I could just concentrate on getting up and over without going down and about.....

LOL...I like all the trees..they've stopped me from rolling..a couple times.

I guess the word "Slickrock" describes our rocks...best..but that one is taken.

Stupid Rubicon killed my K5 on this trip...Ok maby it was my driving skills..naa i blame it on the 4:10 gearing I'm running...WAY too fast for the Con....

Yup,you remember gettin you all loaded up and I couldnt get enough traction to get up the dam :D

You got a few hours of seat time in my truck the next day:wink1:

In most of those pics there are trees in the background, but not really on the trail. Here in the midwest you have to climb over the rocks and ledges while literally squeezing between two trees. 90% of the body damage I see is due to trees.

The rubicon is the same way, it's just your too busy trying to squeeze through the trees to get out and take pics...

Pacific Northwest is brutal for trees and rocks. Usually so tight and grown in you can't get a pic of anything but the grill or tailgate. Walker Valley ORV in WA state is pretty tree intensive, plus big slippery granite and moss/lichen.

Parts of the west are wide open like Utah, other parts are as bad or worse than what you're complaining about.

i go through ATV trails. sometimes the truck passes, sometimes i think the mirrors will rip off, sometimes i get pinned under a fallen tree . the body's full of dents and scratched to hell, but thats part of the fun. next time i get pinned between 2 trees i'll get out and take a pic

LOL, You guys got some sorry looking trees, and I mean all of You. What You guys call trees We call brush around here. Our trees would make You guys weep.
