Lenses are made of a 1/4" thick polycarbonate. Supposed to be able to stop a .22 cal bullet. I don't know if I believe that and haven't ever tested it either. Housings are 1/8" tigged aluminum and they have a halogen bulb inside. Mounting is two threadserts in the back side. Someday I will actually mount them when I get done with changing my mind on suspension and cage.

I have 5 ,2 under the front bumper,2 under the doors and 1 above the rear axle.

just wondering im a newbie but those lights are so when ur crawlin at night it makes it easier for the spoters to see? right?

I have four as of now two in the front, one facing the rear axle, one on the frame under driver door. Probably going to change the side one and put one on each side about middle on the inside of the frame instead outside. Cause will be doing rock sliders soon and the chance of the light getting hit will be higher.

It makes it easier to see where your tires are going so you won't get in an akward position. it can also be for the spotters to see, but with lights on they won't beable to see the vehcile with all the lights pointing forward
