Well My friend wants to put some rock lights on his truck, but he cant decied what would be the best light to use. So I wanna see what you guys have done.

Thanks

I did see a pack of led's at...... here goes..... Bed, Bath and Beyond. They were some type that you stick in random places like closets, garage places and DARK places. Looked like they did a good job. I will check them out when the time comes for me.

This will probably be the first reference to this in !!!!CK5 HISTORY!!!!!

I read a way to attach them other than sticky pad too, like screws.

Get the 8.99 pair at Harbor Freight. They have glass lenses. You can put them anywhere and if you break one somehow.... they were 9 bucks a pair.

. I have them mounted front and rear. On the bumper and the frame. I keep a couple extra packages of them in the truck, in case someone else needs lights.

I used Hella work lights mounted to the frame in each fender pointing down.

I think they work really well.

I don't think you'd want to use these for rock lights... I mean, come on, AAA batteries? :D

I dont think I could walk into bed bath and beyond. Unless the beyond part is the manly part of the store.:doah:

Also For rock lights could you run all 4 through a relay so you only have one switch?

Also if anyone has some othe good pics.:D

Just get the cheapo HF ones like posted, simple 55watt lights, with rubber housing. LEDS arent bright enuff IMO, they are okay for close up, but not for what your doing. also battery powered lights (other than underhood ones) arent going to work out very well IMO

yes you can. I am running all 6 rock lights I have though on 35 amp relay (originally a fuel pump relay) on one switch. Sorry no pics, but I have some Wally Mart lights on the front (don't really like em) and some "work" or "tractor" lights on the rear after the WalMart lights took a crap. The flood/work/tractor lights kick as and very durable. One light at each wheel and two as front flood lights along with silverstar headlamps and zero problems doing night wheeling.
