Rock Slider tubing

Hey everyone, what do you guys recommend for the OD size on tubing for rock sliders? My friend has some what seems to be 1.5" OD size tubing he'd just give me. its pretty thick too. So what do you guys use? thanks Mike

I used 2"x3" .120 wall rectangle tubing for mine. I tested mine first by taking a chunk and beating with a huge hammer. Didn't dent too bad so went with it... plus had it laying in the shop. If your 1.5" is .120 or better would think it would be just fine.

I used 2x3 rectangular .250 wall i dont think its going anywhere
