Rockcrusher 60R Differential Housing
This is actually Rockcrusher's first innovative product for the off-road industry: the Rockcrusher 60R Differential Housing. The Rockcrusher 60R was/is designed for the serious 4-wheelers who demand the best in performance and value. Rockcrusher's 60R offers many engineered and integrated design features that were an innovative 'first' in the year 2000.
All other currently available Dana 60 high pinions have only a single oiling gallery. When they are used as a rear diff, pinion bearings can experience excessive wear and pre-mature failure due to insufficient lubrication. This is particularly problematic under extreme conditions, high pinion applications, and highway use. The Rockcrusher 60R is the only high pinion diff to feature 3 oiling galleries for enhanced pinion bearing lubrication and long life.
The Rockcrusher's Tri-Flow design features 3 oiling galleries for reduced pinion bearing wear: the most efficient pinion bearing lubrication system of any high pinion D60 available. This Tri-Flow design is owned by Rockcrusher and is patent pending.
