Rocker arm questions

ok so i had some engine problems about a month ago as i was gettin ready to go out wheelin so i decided i would pull it apart and put my big cam in it and some new roller rockers. after talking to my uncle in Wisconsin he said he had a set up on his jeep i should try and knowing how his jeep is built i said sure and he sent me some roller rockers for my birthday. will i get them and there are half 1.52's and the rest are 1.6's so i was wondering if i should run the 1.6's on the intake and the 1.52's on the exhaust i've looked and can't find anything about it and my uncle is on a cruise for a few weeks and i would like to get it running soon. any help greatly appreciated:D
 
Typically people put the 1.6's on the exhaust valves.

Scott, can I pick your brain a little on this?
I thought that an engine could use more cam on the intake side, as the pistons vacuum wouldn't be as great sucking the mixture into the cylinder, as the exhaust pressure to push the gases' out of the cylinder, therefore more lift and duration being more useful on the intake stroke.

Mudmaniac, What are the lift and duration specs on the cam?
 
Wouldn't a longer exhaust period help the engine to run more efficiently? Making it easier to expell the exhaust and the motor doing less 'work' while running?
 
Actually, most cams these days are a split pattern cam with more intake lift and duration. People like to put the 1.6 rockers on the exhaust to give a little more lift and full lift duration to help scavenge the incoming intake charge as well as getting rid of the exhaust.
