Dont know if this is the right place but hope it works. im not building my engine yet but collecting things when i find them for a good deal. Got a buddy that has these: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SCC-SCP3027BL/

They are brand new and hes looking to get rid of them. Im just curious if anything needs to change due to having 1.5/1.6 ratios. 1.5 is stock for sbc if i remember right, what am i getting into if i run these? Do i need to get a certain cam? Do i need to worry about them hitting the pistons?

They are Ok. If you can get them for a deal I would. They aren't vac cast or proform rockers so they should be fine. You will need to clearance the push rod holes for the 1.6s and if you are real aggressive cam will tend to float the valves with 1.6s I will assume you are going mild. I tend to use the 1.6 on the intake valve and make a cam more straight up (most cams have more exhaust duration).
