rocker box pics please

Can someone post up some detailed pics of what a rockerbox is exactly. The 72' I just bought has "custom" saddle tanks on it and they sit right below th driver and pass floorboards. Is it possible to get away without using them? what exactly do they do? thanks guys

Kinda of a three part deal that keeps the door openings intact.

#1 and most important are the torsion boxes with the torsion rod inside.
#2 Inner rocker panel that bolts to both the A & B door pillars.
#3 Outer rocker panel, also bolts to both A & B door pillar.

All three pieces need to be there, otherwise with the top off, your tub will sag and change the door opening dimensions.
