Rocker box

Are yours completely missing?

Yes replaced entire floor and installing new boxes
Looks pretty straightforward. Didn’t know if I need outerrockers on first

Man does anyone know how to install rocker box on 71 K5??
As response to your other post, the normal way is welded.
If you really want to bolt them in you need to have lots of bolts to spread the load evenly, and use pinch nuts to keep them from loosening up

Thanks for the advise on the rocker boxes. I assume the outer rockers are welded on first then you weld/bolt rocker boxes, is that correct? I replaced the entire floor with a floor from Gmc Pauls. and now I'm trying to massage the outer rockers on. I have all the holes drilled in the outer rocker for spot welding. I assume you weld the outer rocker to the lip of the inner rocker "new floor."
after you weld/bolt in rocker boxes do you connect(weld) rocker box to inner rocker or not. this is probably confusing but there is not a lot out there on installing rocker boxes. I would be glad to send pics, once I figure out how to post the pics. Im located in Iowa City, Iowa

Yes.
Rockers first, then rocker boxes
