has anybody done anything to stop the flex while converting to a full convertable? i dont have the money for a full cage right now. im starting on my full convertable tomorrow so i will post pics.

I didn't convert to a full 'vert('73 K5), but I cut out my rusted rocker boxes. Put 1/8" wall tube in. Here's some pics(sorry. I'm kind of a pic whore haha):

I am looking for details on this as well. I am looking to go full convertable on my 90 blazer and i would like to replace the rockers with square tubing. And detailed help would help.

if you're not going to cage it, and you're not going to install a tube-rocker, then you're out of options. you don't have to install the rocker tube up as high as stevo did - it could look fairly stock. But, you have to do something to prevent flex in the floor boards and a cage and/or rocker tubes are the only ways to do that. I prefer both.
