Can I tell whether my rocks are u-joint or ball style by the #'s?

best way i have been told is cut open the knuckle bag and fell inside . its a barfield style with balls or ujoint style. best and only real way. but most of the newer ones were ujoint. the first years for a long time were old style.

I want to know if there is a BOM list or something as well!

IF the tag is still there and it says Rockwell then youve got the u-joint style. If its not there you have to cut the boot and feel around.
