You need a fair bit of lift to be able to fully articulate a rockwell under a K5, the top loader of the diff easily can come into contact with the cossmembers/gas tank.

Ususally uld military vehiles are the cheapest way to get them, are you looking for rebuilt, or just a regular rockwell?

IM in san diego ca im puting 20 inch national springs to run 46 or 49 if anybody knows of somebody in ca please let me know I would like to get them with disc brake set up and lockers what about usa 6x6 his prices are pretty good but who knows if i ever get them heard about him thanks again gurus

not tryin to hijack, but has the usa6x6 guy ever scammed anyone on a rockwell? i thought it was just his wheels that were crap and a problem. just wondering...

I dont know if you consider selling them for way more than they are worth scamming, but thats what he does. I also read one post of Pirate4x4 where he sandblasted an axle and the buyer discovered the pumpkin was full of sand,.

well, like i said, I dunno about his services, but if he rebuilds the axles, then they should cost more than a 30-year old crusty military axle thats been layin in a yard for 10 years. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif at any rate, I wouldnt buy nothin from a guy that sells weakly welded wheels on which the buyers LIFE depends on... i was just askin if his scammedness (Im sure thats a word) was limited to wheels or not. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
