:confused:i got a few question,i got an 1984k5,i modified it to full convertible.i had made a brace from rollbar at B pillar to where the hard top bolts at the A pillar. the bolts are always loose, and i scared the A pillar might break! or ending up striping the nuts from over tighten. i got 2inch .120 dom comming in next week ,and i would like to do it right. i want the rollbar to go through the dash, and not in front.should i brace it to the firewall, for more streinght! or too the floor is enought, will i lose my handbrake ! i would like to not cut the dash pad too much! keep the dash stock looking.how about adding some sort off bar from firewall too the back seat at an angle to make it more stiff,1 on both side off cupholder would it be worth while!any pictures would be great or links!

I ran my a pillar bar through the dash. Tied it ti the frame through the fire wall and to the core support. Ran new seat rails to b pillar bar. Tied the bars to the frame under the hoops. Here are a few pictures.
