ROLL BAR WANTED

This is my first time here,so be gentle.I have a '71 K5 and I would like to find a roll bar for it.Mainly so I can use a bikini top in the summer.Any help will be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Dusty

That's actually not true, I was a paying member the day I made my first post. I jointed 3 days after I found this site becasue I knew it was something I'd use and enjoy every day. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

As far as finding a roll bar smittybuilt makes the cheapest and easiest kit to install that I have found. All you need is a day set aside with a drill, some bits, a few wrenched and some paint. A small english speaking helper monkey can go a long way too.

Don't buy the Smittybilt if you can't find one used. It's not worth the money. Just save up and get a 'cage or nothing at all. The damn thing is a universal fit too, so it involves a little trimming on the kicker bars. It is nice to strap stuff to, though... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
