so I am getting ready to design and build a roll cage for my truck. I want to get some pics from exzisting cages to get some ideas and anything that is custom done for extra stuff would always help. so post up what pics you have of your cages. thanks
Rick

Here is the rear half of my cage. The front half is a Smittybuilt weld in kit with a couple front to back spreaders added in between the windshield bar and the b-pillar bar. I am going to add in door bars, more gusseting, and a rear downbar to the fenderwell to get some more points of contact and more strength soon.

ya more would be good thanks for the bump and if anyone has any good ones of what they have around the dash tand front window that would be great

I have three complete cage buildups in my photo gallery....one for a '70, one for a '77 and one for an '86.

The '86 one has an interesting set of front bars. They stay as close as possible to the A-pillar area as possible, and they don't block the glovebox door at all. Took me a long time to figure out, but there are probably some ideas there if you study the pics for a while.

Just click on the link in my .sig

here is my windshield dash bar. There are some spreaders along the roof that I added after this pic was taken.

This is my cage at 2 different stages. The rear was done first, then I rolled it, cut the top off, and did the front part. The front is part Smittybuilt kit from about 15 years ago, and the rest is homemade.
