Does anyone know where can I find a roll cage for a 78' Chevy pickup? I am looking for 6-10 point. Thanks.

I just finished insalling a s&w race cars 10 point cage last week and I am very happy with it. It is perfect since I dont have a good cheap source for metal or a bender. I decided to get the swing out door bar kit as well and am very happy with it as well, I only plan on running the door bars when the doors are off so they are great and the mounts stay out of the way 90%+ of the time. All you need is a welder, grinder and a drill to install these.

Any chance you could post some pics of the cage? I've been considering one for a while and would just like to see one finished.

still learning 1st ever pict posted sort of
I decided to tie the two main hoops togeather. Doing this I saved the rear runners and made them in to the swing out door bars and the roof bars that are soon to house radio, guages, cb. The bar on the floor in between the seats is extra not tied to any thing just floping around this was a progress pict a week or so ago. The front runners look out of place but this cage was ment to fit with no changes to the dash, but I riped that out a long time ago so it will look a little awkward until i fab some aluminun or soething.

Hey I like that cage!! Looks good. I'll be makin my truck a trail only rig later on this year so i might hafta order one up. How tight of a fit are those S&W cages in the cab? I take it they hafta be welded together inside the vehicle? Kinda makes it a little difficult having to cover everything up I before welding i guess.

Got the grinder. Have access to a welder. Now all I need is the cage kit. Nice pics of your cage. Was it a pain to install?

If by pain you mean, 3 nights ad 2 30 packs of Cooers Original and some help from friends who work for beer.
Measure twice cut once. You do have trim and notch a few ends for your own fit.
