Well I am thinking of building a interior cage this week and I was wondering if anyone knew of any premade cages available? And if not I was just going to build one up at work, what size tubing should I use? Thanks for the help.

78chevy 6inch with shackleflip rear, 14blt,44f, 38inch hawgs on 15inch white spokes which I need to sell so if anybody needs them let me know they are brand new and I just got them so I could move my truck.

Do a search... there is lots of commentary on the pre-mades. Smittybilt makes one (Jeg's sells it, IIRC), as well as a place called S&W, I do believe.

I bought mine used, what I believe to be a modified Smittybilt ... 2" tube. Some folks use 1.75", depending on what bender dies they have.

Other common answers: No, you can't use pipe, and no, you can't use a pipe bender. :haha:

I have the smittybilt front section. It's a great value ceratinly. If I were to do it again though, I'd have just fabbed or payed someone to fab it, it's not tight enough to the contours of the vehicle.

I rolled with the Smittybilt Interior tube and didn't have any problems, but if you are looking for something to abuse I'd go S&W or fab one (much stronger)

Check out Essentially Off Road on google, they show six & eight point kits.

I started with a 8 point jegs cage and modified it to my liking. It is 1.750" tubing.
