Bear 76: I doubt if the front would shoot up if I was rear ended. The cage is connected to the frame, sliders, and bumpers. It is 2" .120 wall DOM and the connection thru the floor is done with DIY4X staked cage floor plates (I think that is what they are called). Cage was built by www.hartleytnt.com or MetalMelter on here.
Besides if I was rear ended the other vehicle would problably slide under. Lets hope that never happens anyway.
