How do you get a rollcage tied to the frame through the rocker boxes?

Do you keep the rocker boxes?

Thanks :o

i was thinking about this too cause my rockkers are still pretty good.if i ever did the tie in thing it would have to take out the rocker box and then would have to be replaced with somthing to tie it back together anyway so the sliders and cage can tie in together.ive seen it done on here but im sure someone else has a more detailed description or pics.

I cut out the boxes but still have the rocker panels in place.

My front fenders and core support are now one piece so that probably helps with flex, along with the bumpers, cage, and sliders all being tied together and tied to the frame.

I can't see any of the pictures you guys have posted. Most likely because I'm not a "paying member", I presume.

Thanks for all the replies though, everybody. I was actually asking for a buddy of mine who has a '72 K5. You've given us some good ideas! :D Thanks!
